“Manurbhav” is a compassionate voluntary organization committed to serving the underprivileged members of our society, with a particular focus on children and women. For over 15 years, Manurbhav has tirelessly worked towards its mission. Embodying the essence of its name, which means “Be Human,” the organization not only offers financial and material assistance to those in need but, more importantly, fosters a profound sense of love, compassion, and emotional connection with the marginalized and disadvantaged segments of our society.
Objectives
- Children welfare – promoting their education, health care and overall development
- Women welfare – Empowerment and livelihood opportunities for poor and destitute women for their self reliance
- Help to handicapped
- Social awareness for health care, disease eradication, drug abuse, environmental protection etc.
- Promotion of our social values, culture and literature.
Major Achievements
- More than 700 poor children belonging to five different schools are getting assistance in the form of uniforms, books, stationery, school fee, scholarship etc.
- Two visually impaired children were assisted to get admitted to NIVH, Dehradun.
- Two children adopted under “Bal Angikaran Yojna” by a couple during 2005.
- A boundary wall at Kaulagarh School through “Protsahan” during 2004.
- Scholarships to students through Swajan Smriti Kalash
- Training programmes for poor women and girls organized for livelihood support.
- ‘Late Vinod Bihari Lal Trophy’ sports competition organized at school premises, Kaulagarh on 4.12.2004 and 125 children were given prizes.
- Social awareness campaigns against drug abuse organized through NGO Nijaat.
- Awareness programmes on health care, AIDS, Polio, Iodine deficiency etc.
- Efforts for education of slum/homeless/migratory children.
- Cultural programs to honour eminent litterateurs and Kargil war heroes organized.
